About the Course
In this course you will become introduced to circus performance arts through learning the basics of several circus disciplines, including stretching and conditioning, aerial fabric and hammock, flow, and aerial hoop. Physical activity and art help to improve cognitive executive function, develop physical fitness and stamina, build strength, and create relationships with peers. All levels of ability and experience are invited to participate as accommodations or alternatives for activities are possible. Please wear clothing that allows you to move, hang upside down, and stretch comfortably.

My name is Natasha and I am a trauma-informed educator with a degree in social science and Master of Education. I have taught every level of high school literature and science required by the State of Michigan for graduation. I have worked as a college-level disability advocate, and I am now transitioning my educator duties to advocating through performance art, fitness, and providing personal home and health support for those with disabilities.
